Wurlies to Pokers

"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes."

--Marcel Proust

Nothing much to post today. My hair is currently straight. Absolutely no one salon in this world can challenge the expertise of Hong Hong's in hair washing. I almost died crossed eyed of pure dripping pleasure.

Hong Hong is next to Singapore Chicken Rice in Gadong. DEFINITELY RECCOMENDED.

MAN OF MY LIFE

Ladies and Gentlemen,
"MAN OF MY LIFE"
:)

Cement crackin`

Random note: Apparently I do not like skins that have scrollbars on them. Ahh, spoken like a true blogger.

Anyway, by my readers' popular demand (which is Tina's - egad what massive readership I have!), I chose this very fine day when the weather is particularly beautiful and the sun is shining brightly outside to update Turquoise and Roses.

First, a little bit of unsubstantial, absolutely irrelevant and highly useless commentary on Bruneian economics.

I have noticed a significant increase in the number of cement mixers running around on Bruneian roads. Have cement prices suddenly gone down, causing this sudden influx of cement purchase? Just yesterday I saw FIVE.

"Bang, lakas tah kitani membali simin, murah bah sudah karang ani.. rugi karang inda mambali, urang belakang ada sudah tu ku nampak setarak diudarnya"

Speaking of cement, a friend's brother had a particularly alarming accident with a cement mixer just a while ago. Apparently he was driving his Beamer behind one around the Pasir Putih area behind a cement mixer and a glod of piping hot cement suddenly leaked on to his car. His windshield apparently broke AND some of the cement landed on his thighs and abdomen.

That has got to hurt.

On a more pleasant note, Aimi's leaving to UK to do a LAW DEGREE!

Bulih macam Siamese twins sul tani Dang. Chong Sam and Chong Fan. Haha!

CONGRATULATIONS WOMAN! I'll definitely miss you and our only-Aimi-and-Maurina-is-invited Misato dates.
Dandam ku ni kan kau, asap sigup mu sama Mercedes melajak mu ah! Membari takut akon nya atu sajuk panas. Sadih ku nakkk~

Sigh. Bah, I need to go berdandan. Hot date.

Wishlist Item #1

Why not?

Pleasant memory

The last memory of you and your brothers I had was of us climbing the mud wall in your backyard. Remember we were covered with thick, yellow, grimy mud from top to bottom? Then, to somehow fool our mothers and make them think we were up to no mischeif, we washed everything off with a garden hose and ended up cold and wet.

:D

I don't remember much, and that is my big loss. Thank you nevertheless. Looking forward to making more! See you in two years time.

Have a nice long flight.

Emerald

Roses are turquoise
Tulips are pink
*sigh*

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there lived a princess with green eyes and small dainty feet. Everyday at the seventh hour of light she will make a trip to the seventh tower in the south wing where the seventh warrior got killed. There she will cry and wept for there lies the silent body of her mother, unmoving, still, wrapped beautiful in cheesecloth, a pearl on each closed eye.

Her wistful tears are put in a silver pot and poured everyday into a lake by seven virgin maids. To this day, when the silvery moon forms into a perfect circle in the sky, fenced by twinkling stars, the lake will glitter a brilliant emerald green, like the princess's eyes.

Sana wara sana, year after year, this sad story of a princess who wept a river.

Don’t forget to MOISTURISE

YES, I BLOG NOW. I intend to post regularly too. Whether what I post is anything of substance or not is a totally different matter altogether.

One man went to mow,
Went to mow a meadow,
One man and his dog, WOOF!
Went to mow a meadow.

However, in true stuck-up-University-student style, I will tell you what to expect in this blog. My posts would fluctuate in regularity, increasing as I get more assignments (due to my procrastinating nature). The subject matter is diverse in manner, mostly random thoughts, my interior monologues, or anything that will make you think that I am smart and is of an inexhaustible fountain of knowledge. Occasionally, I might put in some rants, or a recipe even. Shoes and weight would be a recurring theme and pardon me if I speak of Manolo in absolute reverence.

Expect no short forms of any nature. The pronoun “whom” comes before my verbs and I don’t use split infinitives.

Birthday feet.
