The Striking Hour

A friend sent this to me. Click to download file.

Time and time again I get amazed at the passion and devotion people have for God regardless of religion. To stop and weep halfway during a routine prayer to feel His distance and closeness. To feel, for a second or two, how small we are and how large the universe is. To think of God-given paradoxes- knowing that our destinies are already written for us but we alone decide our fates. How complex everything is that it engulfs your every fibre of being.

Yet how beautiful is all these complexities woven intricately together. How can you deny His existence?

Hee, still, I think it is a pretty picture.

So long and thanks for all the fish

I have not slept a wink. I have just finished reading all three books by Douglas Adams.

A reccomended read.
-Douglas Adams
To you who had told me time and time again to read this book, I apologise that I have not taken you seriously. I understand the flaw of my errors and to date, this is one of the best books I have ever read. It combines the reality of the human self with the fabricated fantasies of the outer space. It is a most interesting read. Whereever you are, :) thank you.

Parfalle Salmone

Yes it was delicious.

Modernism

Not that my blog is an avenue for shameless self promotion and all, but this is a link to my piece of writing entitled Green Sea and Brown Mud. Click and download if you are interested.

In a nutshell, it is the monologues of my Great Grandfather's stream of consciousness while talking to my Uncle (the eldest in my Mother's family). Keep in mind that he is very old, he is sick and he can't move. Imagine a 'belandih' Bruneian.

Well enjoy! (I hope)
